PPTP VPN Connection Configuring on Android OS

This article will help you learn how to install and configure PPTP VPN connections on Android OS.

To install and configure PPTP on your Android device, follow the steps:

1. Go to the Settings menu on your Android device.
2. In the Wireless networks section, select More.
   
3. Go to the VPN menu item.
   
4. Click the + to add a new VPN connection.
   
5. On the next screen, select the connection type "PPTP" and enter the VPN connection parameters:
   1. In the Name field, enter any name for the connection, for example, "BIGBANG ITS".
   2. In the Server address field enter the server address (VPS).
   3. In the Username and the Password fields write the access information from the message that you received by email when the service is activated.
      
6. You can also find PPTP access information in your client area.
   1. In your client area, find the My Services tab.
   2. Click Manage.
      
      
   3. In the Access section, find the PPTP L2TP settings.
      
      
   4. Download access information there.
      
      
7. Check the Always VPN checkbox only to allow traffic when connected to this VPN.
8. Click Save to save the created VPN connection.
   
9. Click the name of the created VPN connection and enter the username and password if you did not do it during the connection creation.
10. Check Save account information so that you don't need to enter them on reconnections.
11. Check the Always VPN checkbox only to allow traffic when connected to this VPN.
12. Click Connect.
